Research Appointments

The Alice Phelan Sullivan Library

The Alice Phelan Sullivan library is a non-circulating research library that includes books, archives, manuscript materials, maps, newspapers, periodicals and ephemera. The Library is open to the public free of charge and researchers are welcome by appointment.

Due to limited resources, we prioritize assisting researchers with well-defined research topics and will assist others as resources allow. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information about our collection or to make a research request. Please include a succinct message about your specific research needs and you will be contacted about what our library can provide.

Please note that many of the collections are fragile and there are restrictions on the use of original documents. Reproduction requests are filled at the discretion of staff members.
