Library Discovery Program – Maps in the Society’s Collections

The program will discuss the various types of maps in the collection – printed maps, hand drawn maps, pocket maps, and maps from publications. Those on display will include early state maps, mining maps, city maps, railroad maps, manuscript maps and others. The Society owns over 2,000 maps, and they are an integral part of our collection that is used by visiting researchers.
