1261 - Teaming from the Central Pacific Railroad.

For over 150 years, The Society of California Pioneers has been a lively, multi-faceted organization dedicated to the collection, preservation, and sharing of California history for present and future audiences. If you share a belief in that mission, there’s no better way of showing your support than by becoming a Friend of the Museum & Library.

Becoming a Friend entitles you to a wide range of benefits including:
• Unlimited museum admission
• Use of the research collections of the Alice Phelan Sullivan Library
• Subscription to the annual journal, The Pioneer
• Exhibition receptions
• Lectures & public programs

Your support also enables us to continue to offer free admission to over 2,500 Bay Area school children who participate in a range of programs that explore aspects of California history and foster a sense of a common heritage.
